Based in, Arequipa, Peru, Socosani is a leading natural soda drink manufacturer that was established in 1904. The company has won several international awards for innovative product design, exceptional quality, and good manufacturing practices in Peru, France, Spain, and Argentina.
Socosani’s success can in part be attributed to its unique source of water. Located thirty-six kilometers northwest of the city of Arequipa in the Yura district, the refreshing and pure natural mineral water comes from the Chachani Volcano (6,075 m). Water melts from the peak of Chachani and travels underground through calcareous sedimentary rock channels where it is enriched with natural minerals and released into the Valley of Socosani containing fourteen mineral springs, called the “Eyes of Water”.
Socosani’s natural flavoured mineral waters and refreshing soft drinks are primarily sold in the Peruvian domestic market. Consumers enjoy drinks with natural accents of lemon & pineapple: new flavour profiles were released recently including “Black”, the only exclusively all natural cola soft drink with natural mineral water in Peru, and sugar-free Socosani Lemon Flavored Water, named “Taste of the Original”. The entire line has also been enhanced with new packaging and bottle design that is ergonomic, modern, functional, and fun.
